Kevin started his career in the early 90’s in Boston, Massachusetts as the house bassist at The House of Blues as part of “Ricky King Russell and the Cadillac Horns.” It was there he developed his “less is more” approach that guides his playing to this day.

He would also share the stage with such notable artists as John Doe, Charlie Sexton, Jon Langford, Kelly Willis, Henry Butler, “The Mastersons,” Peter Case, Peter Buck, Alejandro Escovedo, Beth Waters, Heather Combs, Peter Wolf, Bill Kreutzmann, Victor Krummenacher, Chris Robinson, Roy Loney, Brad Brooks(“MC 5”) and Ruby Boots.
